"Madonna and Child with Saints Magdalene, Margaret of Antiochia, Saint Benedict and Saint Catherine of Alexandria" - painter of the second half of the 16th century.

Located in the Municipal Art Gallery of the Museum of San Francesco (Montone) it is the work that most intrigues for the figure of the dragon on a leash that stands out in the foreground (iconographic attribute of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia).
It is a devotional and peripheral work. Painted in warm and intense shades that would suggest the hand of some artist attending Cirelli's workshop.

A work of great depth and very suggestive, which must surely be seen more closely.

Situata nella Pinacoteca Comunale del Museo di San Francesco è l'opera che incuriosisce maggiormente per la figura del drago al guinzaglio che spicca in primo piano (attributo iconografico di Santa Margherita d'Antiochia).
Si tratta di un'opera devozionale e periferica. Dipinta con tonalità calde ed intense che farebbero presupporre la mano di qualche artista frequentante la bottega di Cirelli.

Opera di grande spessore e decisamente suggestiva da dover vedere sicuramente più da vicino.
