() The Torre di Pila is a villa that rises around a lookout tower dating back to the 15th century.
Throughout its history it has seen numerous families, such as the noble family of the Marquises Monaldi, who built the house, the Guardabassi family, who worked together with the artist and architect Ugo Tarchi the construction of an additional part of the veranda, up to the current owners.
During the Second World War the house was occupied by the Nazis, who entered the villa with tanks passing through the main nave of the house, leaving signs of creaking that are still visible today, and burning all furnishings in the central hall, making a big fire.
Despite this, the house managed to regain its splendor, becoming the home of the Bulgari family for a few years, and then of the current owners who gave back its former glory by restoring the Villa, the garden and the park.

() La Torre di Pila è una villa che sorge intorno ad una torre di avvistamento risalente al XV secolo.
Nel corso della sua storia ha visto numerose famiglie, quali la nobile famiglia dei Marchesi Monaldi, i quali provvidero alla costruzione della casa, la famiglia Guardabassi, che operò insieme all’artista e architetto Ugo Tarchi la costruzione di una parte aggiuntiva della veranda, fino agli attuali proprietari.
Durante la seconda guerra mondiale la casa fu occupata dai nazisti, che entrarono dentro la villa con dei carri armati passando per la navata principale della casa, lasciando segni di cigoli che sono visibili tutt’ora, e bruciando suppellettili e arredi tutti nel salone centrale, facendo un grande fuoco. Nonostante questo, la casa riuscì a riacquisire il suo splendore, divenendo la dimora della famiglia Bulgari per qualche anno, e poi degli attuali proprietari che gli hanno restituito l’antico splendore provvedendo al ripristino della Villa, del giardino e del parco.
