The statues of the Saints are each fixed on a sort of stretcher, a large wooden structure called "cero" which, behind the designated runners, runs through the majestic streets and squares of the city until it reaches the basilica of the patron saint on Mount Ingino.
The undisputed protagonists of this colossal feast are the ceraioli, the eugubinian men who have the great honor of performing this unbridled, dramatic and exhausting race.

A spectacular party. A tradition never interrupted where to live an extraordinary emotion, strong and rich in a distant tradition but always alive and beautiful.

Le statue dei Santi vengono fissate ciascuna su una sorta di barella, una grande struttura in legno detta “cero” che a spalle dei corridori designati, percorre le maestose vie e piazze della città fino a giungere alla basilica del patrono sul monte Ingino.
Protagonisti indiscussi di questa colossale festa sono i ceraioli, gli uomini eugubini che hanno il grande onore di compiere questa sfrenata, drammatica ed estenuante corsa.

Una festa spettacolare. Una tradizione mai interrotta dove vivere un'emozione straordinaria, forte e ricca di una tradizione lontana ma sempre viva e splendida.
