() I am Aurelio Bruni, painter, I live and work in Ficulle, near Orvieto.

My painting moves from surrealist origins and gradually has increasingly oriented itself towards a very accentuated realism with hyperrealistic trespasses.

I define myself as a "symbolic realist" and the subjects vary from portraiture to still life, allegories, sacred painting.

Today's work:
Two faces indirectly dialogue.
At the center of the scene, captured by a thread that delicately harnesses it, an apple resting on a surface, is half real and half petrified, representing the two characters at the end of the thread.

On the right, the marble face of a young, beautiful, regal woman who does not look two thousand years old.

On the left a very old woman with a calm and vital smile even if her face is clearly visible the time passed.

() Sono Aurelio Bruni, pittore, vivo e lavoro a Ficulle, vicino Orvieto.

La mia pittura muove da origini surrealiste e gradualmente si è sempre più orientata verso un realismo molto accentuato con sconfinamenti iperrealisti.

Mi definisco un "realista simbolico" ed i soggetti variano dalla ritrattistica alla natura morta, allegorie, pittura sacra.

L'opera di oggi:
Due volti indirettamente dialogano.
Al centro della scena, catturata da un filo che delicatamente la imbrigliata, una mela poggiata su un piano, per metà è reale e per metà pietrificata rappresentando i due personaggi alla fine del filo.

A destra il volto, di marmo, di una giovane donna, bella, regale che non dimostra i duemila anno di età.

A sinistra una donna molto anziana con un sorriso pacato e vitale anche se il suo volto è ben visibile il tempo trascorso.
