A pristine place, full of life, vibrates with light and recalls simple serenity. We wanted to make Borgo Santa Cecilia an experience to remember, to savor and share with those who know how to capture the spirit and heart of this territory.

Rediscover ancient paths that cross the forest and run along the lakes, paths that mark the entire estate. Walking around will be a pleasure. Accompany a work over time, improve it and love it. This is our task.

Environments, rooms and living rooms of various sizes: no environment is the same as the other, they are unique. Chestnut and potrelle beams, exposed vaults and warm parquet, stone exteriors and rough plaster. The materials used, wisely blended with traditional techniques typical of Umbria, are often recovered; having always in mind a complete restoration of the ancient Borgo. The oak tree that adorns the garden has been providing fresh air to the inhabitants of the Borgo for many years, embraces the guests and tells the past seasons, takes care of us.

We cannot omit the One who inspired our adventure. Inside the Tenuta, isolated and hidden, there is the small Church dedicated to Santa Cecilia Eremita, who lived and died around 1237 in the cave that is still located near the Church. Place of pilgrimage, of peace and meditation, it infuses tranquility and simple visitors.

Borgo Santa Cecilia was born to give happy moments to our guests too. Special moments, framed by our gracious welcome and the good products of the land.

Un luogo incontaminato, ricco di vita, vibra di luce e richiama semplice serenità. Volevamo rendere Borgo Santa Cecilia un’esperienza da ricordare, da assaporare e condividere con coloro che sappiano cogliere lo spirito e il cuore di questo territorio.

Riscoprire antichi sentieri che attraversano il bosco e costeggiano i laghetti, sentieri che segnano tutta la Tenuta. Passeggiarvi sarà un piacere. Accompagnare un’opera nel tempo, migliorarla e amarla. Questo è il nostro compito.

Stanze, camere e saloni di varia grandezza: nessun ambiente è uguale all'altro, sono unici. Travi in castagno e potrelle, voltine a vista e caldo parquet, esterni in pietra e intonaci grezzi. I materiali usati, fusi sapientemente con tecniche tradizionali e tipiche dell’Umbria, sono spesso di recupero; avendo sempre in mira un restauro integrale del Borgo antico. La Quercia che adorna il giardino offre frescura da molti anni agli abitanti del Borgo, abbraccia gli ospiti e racconta le stagioni passate, si cura di noi.

Non possiamo tralasciare Colei che ha ispirato la nostra avventura. All'interno della Tenuta, isolata e nascosta, c’è la piccola Chiesa dedicata a Santa Cecilia Eremita, che visse e morì intorno al 1237 nella grotta che ancora oggi si trova vicino la Chiesa. Luogo di pellegrinaggio, di pace e meditazione, infonde tranquillità a fedeli e semplici visitatori.
