> La struttura fatta erigere, come molte altre nel XIV secolo, dal Cardinale spagnolo Egidio Alvarez Albornoz, serviva per riportare l’egemonia papale nei territori centrali della nostra penisola durante la cattività avignonese. La fortezza militare rappresenta dunque uno scorcio sul Medioevo.
La scarpa, la torre del maschio, le merlature, l’antica corte, gli stemmi e il ricordo dell’attacco dei Lanzichenecchi torneranno ad essere raccontati e ammirati all'interno della Rocca.
Splendido il luogo su cui sorge da cui è possibile dominare e ammirare la città di Narni e il suo territorio.

All'interno del piano nobile un allestimento permanente tematico mostrerà alcuni focus sulla vita nel Medioevo.
