Il percorso storico artistico ci porta alla scoperta delle opere in mostra, dedicate all'universo iconografico delle Bolle che con inaspettata frequenza e ininterrotta continuità, si snoda dal Cinquecento fino ai giorni nostri. Ma anche il loro fondamentale ruolo nelle ricerche settecentesche sulla rifrazione della luce e sui colori,sulle successive teorie sulle superfici minime o sulle forme di aggregazione organica della materia, per arrivare alle attuali sperimentazioni attraverso l’ausilio della computer grafica.
