> It is an "Inkwell" whose form refers to those used between the end of the 16th century and throughout the 17th century. It is called a wave inkwell. Overall it is a simple form with the classic "shots" ink holder, and the wave, in fact where you place the pen equipped with a pen to dip in ink ... to make it, I chose a "Grottesco" decoration in various shades green but also tone-on-tone with addition of golden yellow tips. The yellow embellishes and gives brightness to the composition. The decoration of this inkwell starts from my study on various styles of grotesque (which is usually in color) and consequently my review and original proposal with a touch of innovation in terms of color.
The inkstand is decorated in all its parts, at the center of the "wave" I inserted a female figure that recalls the allegory of painting. The other sides are decorated with vegetable and floral motifs. The lid of the glasses is decorated with a "baccellatura" with small arches that makes the object as a whole very fine.

> Si tratta di un "Calamaio" la cui forma si rifà a quelle in uso tra la fine del '500 e per tutto il' 600. É chiamato calamaio ad onda. Nel complesso è una forma semplice con i classici "bicchierini" porta inchiostro, e l'onda, appunto dove si appoggia la penna munita di pennino da intingere nell'inchiostro ... per realizzarlo, ho scelto un decoro "Grottesco" in varie tonalità di verde ma anche tono su tono con aggiunta di punte di colore giallo oro. Il giallo impreziosisce e dona luminosità alla composizione. Il decoro di questo calamaio parte da un mio studio su vari stili di grottesco (che di solito è a colori) e di conseguenza una mia rivisitazione e proposta originale con un pizzico di innovazione per quanto riguarda il colore.
Il calamaio è decorato in ogni sua parte, al centro "dell'onda" ho inserito una figura femminile che richiama l'allegoria della pittura. Gli altri lati sono decorati con motivi vegetali e floreali. Il coperchio dei bicchierini è decorato con una "baccellatura" ad archetti che rende molto fine l'oggetto nel suo complesso.
