> Foligno, Piazza della Repubblica. It is the heart of the ancient city and is known to be the place where St. Francis renounced his earthly possessions. It is a large rectangle, with streets that converge at the four corners, whose current appearance took shape around the thirteenth century, when some historical buildings were built. Walking in the square you can see:

- The Palace dei Priori and the Palace del Capitano del Popolo

E’ un grande rettangolo, con strade che vi confluiscono ai quattro angoli, il cui aspetto attuale prese forma intorno al XIII secolo quando vennero costruiti alcuni palazzi storici.
