Walking through the alleys of the village is like crossing different eras, the visitor is transported on a journey into the past made of rural life, rituals and beliefs related to the cycles and seasons of the earth as evidenced by the museum of the “Casa Contadina” that documents a piece of life of the early 1900s.

Heading up towards the Torre Comunale located next to the monumental complex of Sant'Antonio Abate, within the original nucleus of Corciano, the houses of the early 1900s with their stone facades, entrances of ancient homes. Those who, driven by curiosity, wanted to search through these ancient stones, would see engraved stones, once symbolizing workshops of arts and crafts.

Towers, walls and palaces represent a magnificent setting that beautify the scenery of the city. If, walking, you look upwards, where the smoke of the chimneys is lost in the sky, you can see hanging gardens, jewels set between the roofs, between the earth and the stars and it is easy to imagine being on the threshold of an enchanted world.

Percorrere le vie del borgo è come attraversare epoche diverse, il visitatore è trasportato in un viaggio nel passato fatto di vita rurale, di riti e credenze legate ai cicli e alle stagioni della terra come testimonia il museo della casa contadina che documenta un pezzetto di vita dei primi del ‘900.

Salendo verso la Torre comunale, situata accanto al complesso monumentale di Sant'Antonio Abate, all'interno del nucleo originario di Corciano, le case dei primi del ‘900, testimoniano con le loro facciate in pietra, ingressi di antiche dimore e chi, spinto dalla curiosità, volesse cercare tra queste antiche pietre, scorgerebbe sassi incisi, un tempo simboleggianti botteghe d’arti e mestieri.

Torri, mura e palazzi rappresentano una magnifica cornice che impreziosisce il panorama della città. Se, camminando, si getta lo sguardo verso l’alto, là dove il fumo dei comignoli si perde nel cielo, è possibile intravedere giardini pensili, gioielli incastonati tra i tetti, tra la terra e le stelle ed è facile immaginare di trovarsi sulla soglia di un mondo incantato.
