In this period of time, in ancient times, the death and birth of Mother Nature was celebrated, identified by the Romans in the divine Diana, goddess of the Moon and fertility.
Before dying to be reborn together with the new year and the spring to come, Mother Earth brought her gifts to men and flew to the fields, making them fruitful.

In questo lasso di tempo, nell'antichità, veniva celebrata la morte e la nascita di Madre Natura, identificata dai romani nella divina Diana, dea della Luna e della fertilità.
Prima di morire per rinascere assieme al nuovo anno ed alla primavera a venire, la Madre Terra portava i suoi doni agli uomini e volava sui campi rendendoli fecondi.
