The splendid mosaic floors, which are the only ones in Umbria to bear these depictions, render Spello's Villa of Mosaics one of the most extraordinary archaeological discoveries in the region. The decorations feature wild animals, mythical creatures, a wine pouring scene, male figures with plant attributes representing the Seasons, figures of satyrs, and polychrome geometric elements. The iconographic choices are likely linked to the wine production on the part of the owner.

Gli splendidi pavimenti a mosaico, unici in Umbria con queste raffigurazioni, rendono la Villa dei Mosaici di Spello una delle scoperte archeologiche più straordinarie della regione. Nelle decorazioni si possono ammirare figure di animali selvatici e fantastici, una scena di mescita del vino, personaggi maschili con attributi vegetali raffiguranti le Stagioni, figure di satiri ed elementi geometrici policromi. Le scelte iconografiche sono verosimilmente collegate alla produzione vinicola del proprietario.
