> The dish is a priest's hat shape, with a not very deep cable, diameter cm. 25. It was painted by me in the 90s. It was created for the event "Umbrian ceramics at the time of Perugino". Reproduces a warrior with an elaborate helmet on a landscape background; reproduction taken from the 16th century ceramics decorator who certainly knew Perugino's paintings.
It is in white and blue (even if the enamel is not very white since at the time the enamel was only stanniferous and therefore not white). The blue predominates behind the warrior and takes back part of the sky. In third firing the "gold luster" was applied, or "reverberation", a typical sixteenth-century technique (if you cook again the reflex disappears), which gives it the characteristic mother-of-pearl gold. Since it was supposed to be the exact reproduction, the back is decorated with geometric patterns that are repeated, in luster.

> Il piatto è a forma cappello di prete, con cavetto non molto profondo, diametro cm. 25. È stato dipinto da me negli anni 90. È stato realizzato per la manifestazione "Ceramica umbra al tempo di Perugino". Riproduce un guerriero con elmo elaborato su sfondo di paesaggio; riproduzione ripresa dal decoratore di ceramiche del' 500 che di sicuro conosceva i dipinti del Perugino.
È in bianco e blu (anche se lo smalto non è bianchissimo visto che all'epoca lo smalto era solo stannifero e quindi non bianco). Il blu predomina alle spalle del guerriero e riprende parte del cielo. In terza cottura è stato applicato il "lustro" color oro, o "riverbero" tipica tecnica cinquecentesca (se si ricuoce il riflesso sparisce), che gli conferisce il caratteristico oro madreperlato. Siccome doveva essere l'esatta riproduzione, il retro è decorato con motivi geometrici che si ripetono, a lustro.
