> UMBERDITE, located in the upper Tiber valley, crossed by the Tiber itself and by the Reggia stream, presents a characteristic old town still surrounded by the medieval walls in the stretches that run along the waterways. Around the Piazza San Francesco is the church of Santa Croce, now home to the civic museum inaugurated in December 1998, with a Gothic layout and a fourteenth-century portal, inside which were kept a canvas of Pomarancio of 1577 and a wooden statue of San Rocco of 1528 now transferred to the museum.

The Deposition altarpiece on the high altar, painted by Luca Signorelli in 1516, is the only one of the many works by the Cortona master, who is still in his original site ...

> UMBERDITE, collocata nell'alta valle del Tevere, attraversata dallo stesso Tevere e dal torrente Reggia, presenta un caratteristico centro storico circondato ancora dalle mura medioevali nei tratti che costeggiano i corsi d'acqua. Attorno a piazza San Francesco è la chiesa di Santa Croce, ora sede del museo civico inaugurato nel dicembre del 1998, di impianto gotico e con portale trecentesco, all'interno della quale erano conservate una tela del Pomarancio del 1577 e una statua lignea di San Rocco del 1528 ora trasferite nel museo.
