It is said that in this place the Saint used to stay there when he was passing through Rome. During one of his illnesses he heard the sound of the angel's violet and transformed the water drawn from the well into wine.
At his departure he planted his stick in the ground that sprouted giving life to a now age-old chestnut tree where even today all his faithful come to reap its fruits in his devotion.

Si racconta che in questo luogo vi soggiornava il Santo quando transitava per Roma,si dice durante una sua malattia udi il suono della viola dell'angelo e trasformò l'acqua attinta dal pozzo in vino.
Alla sua partenza piantò il suo bastone in terra che germogliò dando vita ad un castagno ormai secolare dove ancora oggi tutti i suoi fedeli vengono a raccogliere i suoi frutti in sua devozione.
