> MONTE CASTELLO DI VIBIO, in the historical center there are the real jewels preserved thanks to an urban restructuring that involved public and private buildings, to give this country the right value also from an architectural point of view.
Among the rarities is the Teatro della Concordia "the smallest in the world", built in 1809, the Church of Santa Illuminata also known as the Crucifix because inside there is a wooden statue whose head (from 1400) was donated by Blessed Placido da Monte Castello, the bell tower with the War Memorial, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II with its terrace where you can admire the wide panorama to the south of Umbria up to see the mountains of Lazio and Abruzzo.

On the same square dominates the parish church of Ss Filippo and Giacomo of the eighteenth century, inside which is venerated the image of the Madonna dei Portenti with San Carlo Borromeo and a cistern well of the sixteenth century and the Tower of Porta di Maggio which bears witness to the ancient vestiges of this country. The alleys and the characteristic views are of particular interest.

> MONTE CASTELLO DI VIBIO, nel centro storico risiedono i veri e propri gioielli conservati grazie anche a una ristrutturazione urbanistica che ha coinvolto edifici pubblici e privati, per dare a questo paese il giusto valore anche dal punto di vista architettonico.
Tra le rarità il Teatro della Concordia “il più piccolo del mondo”, costruito nel 1809, la Chiesa di Santa Illuminata detta anche del Crocefisso poiché all’interno si custodisce la statua lignea la cui testa (del 1400) fu donata da Beato Placido da Monte Castello, la torre campanaria con il Monumento ai caduti, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II° con la sua terrazza dove si può ammirare l'ampio panorama a sud dell'Umbria fino a scorgere i monti del Lazio e dell'Abruzzo.

Sulla stessa piazza domina la Chiesa parrocchiale dei Ss Filippo e Giacomo del XVIII° secolo, all'interno della quale si venera l’immagine della Madonna dei Portenti con San Carlo Borromeo e un pozzo cisterna del XVI° secolo e la Torre di Porta di Maggio che testimonia le antiche vestigia di questo paese. Di particolare interesse sono i vicoli e gli scorci caratteristici.
