Back in 1890 the Marchetti family opened one of Assisi’s first restaurants. Soon afterwards they decided to begin renting out rooms to the restaurant’s clients and travellers
This was the beginning of a long story that has culminated in the Dal Moro Gallery Hotel, 4-stars, Umbria’s first art design hotel and now in the same family for four generations.
The contemporary hospitality guests can enjoy at the hotel today is the consequence of a long-standing tradition that dates back to when the family first opened its restaurant. Il Dal moro Gallery Hotel rappresenta la tradizione dell’ospitalità ad Assisi di quattro generazioni che abbraccia tre secoli di storia.
Era il 1890 quando la famiglia Marchetti aprì uno dei primi ristoranti ad Assisi. Dopo alcuni anni decisero di iniziare ad affittare qualche camera agli Ospiti del Ristorante: iniziò così la lunga storia del Dal Moro Gallery Hotel 4 stelle, il primo Hotel Art Design in Umbria, ormai giunto alla sua quarta generazione.
È la moderna espressione di una tradizione dell’ospitalità che si è tramandata sin da allora, rinnovandosi nel tempo per rispondere sempre meglio alle esigenze di un mondo in continua e veloce evoluzione.

Ciò che caratterizza il ristorante Dal Moro Gallery è la lunga tradizione, nata nel 1890, e che prosegue da oltre quattro generazioni, seguendo sempre gli insegnamenti fondamentali con amore e responsabilità.
Situato in una posizione centrale con la sua stupenda vista che scopre la bellissima Basilica degli Angeli e l’imponente Cupola del Vignola, il Ristorante elegante, raffinato ed accogliente è diviso di due sale: la Sala dei Medici, che può ospitare fino a circa 100 persone, e la Sala del Vignola, più piccola per creare un’atmosfera intima e privata. La terrazza panoramica del Ristorante scopre la vista sulla Basilica e sul paesaggio circostante.
