The original building was built around a watch tower of the fifteenth century. In 1700 it was owned by the Noble Family of the Maraldi Monaldi who built a large house with a garden.

At the beginning of the twentieth century it passed to the Bartoccini Family and later to the Congregation of Charity of Perugia.

In 1930 Count Francesco Maria Guardabassi, a versatile artist, bought the property and entrusted its reconstruction to the architect Ugo Tarchi of Rome.

In 1989, after a period of neglect that lasted for about forty years, the property was acquired by the current owners of the Petrini family, who restored the ancient splendor and restored the villa, the garden and the park.

The Villa is surrounded by an Italian garden and a park where there are fountains, a swimming pool, a pond for swans and a small amphitheater, both of considerable historical interest as they testify to the taste of the time.

The interiors of the villa, completely renovated in recent years, both in the frescoes and in the furniture recalling the taste and classic style of the last century will envelop you in an atmosphere out of time and will accompany your moments to remember.

> STORIA
La costruzione originaria sorse intorno ad una torre di avvistamento del xv secolo. Nel 1700 era di proprietà della Nobile Famiglia dei Marchesi Monaldi che fecero costruire una grande casa con giardino.

All'inizio del xx secolo passò alla Famiglia Bartoccini e in seguito alla Congregazione di Carità di Perugia.

Nel 1930 il conte Francesco Maria Guardabassi, poliedrico artista, acquistò la proprietà e ne affidò la ricostruzione all'architetto Ugo Tarchi di Roma.

Nel 1989, dopo un periodo di abbandono durato circa quarant'anni, la proprietà fu acquisitata dagli attuali proprietari della famiglia Petrini che le restituirono l'antico splendore provvedendo al ripristino della villa, del giardino e del parco.

La Villa è circondata da un giardino all'italiana e da un parco in cui sono collocati fontane, una piscina, un laghetto per cigni e un piccolo anfiteatro, entrambi di notevole interesse storico poichè testimoniano il gusto dell'epoca.

Gli interni della villa, completamente ristrutturati negli ultimi anni, sia negli affreschi che nel mobilio riprendendo il gusto e lo stile classico del secolo scorso vi avvolgeranno in un'atmosfera fuori dal tempo e accompagneranno i vostri momenti da ricordare.
