> In exclusive Liberty style, Hotel Villa dei Platani is housed in a historic villa built in 1928 by architect Felice Sabatini for Mr. Ugo Scaramucci, owner of an ancient and famous follicle and lime factory. Immediately after World War II it became the seat of the company “Acqua Nocera Umbra” and only in the 1970s it became a structure. In 2007 it is completely renovated and transformed into a modern 4-star hotel with design and hi-tech elements: Hotel Villa dei Platani designrelais.
From the comparison with the original design, today the villa faithfully reflects the structure except for the decorative apparatus, which is still richer than the designs and reflects a typically Renaissance style (tower ornaments and window frames).

> In stile esclusivamente liberty, l’Hotel Villa dei Platani è ospitato in uno storico villino costruito nel 1928 dall’architetto Felice Sabatini per il signor Ugo Scaramucci, proprietario di una antica e famosa fabbrica di lime e raspe folignate. Subito dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale divenne sede dell’azienda “Acqua Nocera Umbra” e solo negli anni 1970 si trasforma in una struttura ricettiva. Nel 2007 viene completamente ristrutturato e trasformato in moderno hotel 4 stelle con elementi di design e hi-tech: Hotel Villa dei Platani designrelais.
Dal confronto con il progetto originario, oggi il villino rispecchia fedelmente la struttura tranne che per l’apparato decorativo, che è tuttora più ricco rispetto ai disegni e rispecchia uno stile tipicamente rinascimentale (gli ornamenti della torretta e le cornici delle finestre).
