Small castle that stands at the extreme southern boundaries of the territory of the fold, 657 meters above sea level, among oak, elci and chestnut woods. Recently renovated by Anna Fendi, a famous Roman fashion designer, it is currently used as a private residence and, at the moment, there are only three families permanently residing there.
The impression, therefore, of unreality, of a world unto itself, almost out of time, which is received observing it from a certain distance, is magnified when we enter the walls, the short streets, the tiny square with the ancient well, where silence is master.
Its origin is unknown, but the first settlement could even be traced back to the destruction of the nearby City of Fallera, an ancient type of collective construction, on the top of a hill, almost certainly prehistoric or protohistoric, surrounded by a mighty circle of walls, of which only stone blocks remain (castelliere).

Data la sua particolare posizione elevata regala al visitatore una meravigliosa veduta sulla sottostanti colline, con lo sguardo che si perde a 360° dal Tezio fino ai monti Sibillini.

Ristrutturato in tempi recenti da Anna Fendi, nota stilista romana, è attualmente adibito a residenza privata e stabilmente vi risiedono solo tre famiglie.
L’impressione, pertanto, di irrealtà, di un mondo a sé, quasi fuori dal tempo, che si riceve osservandolo da una certa distanza, si ingigantisce allorché ci si addentra fra le mura, le brevi vie, la minuscola piazza con l’antico pozzo, dove il silenzio è padrone.
Sconosciuta è la sua origine, ma il primo insediamento si potrebbe addirittura far risalire agli scampati alla distruzione della vicina Città di Fallera, antichissimo tipo di costruzione collettiva, sulla cima di un’altura, di epoca quasi sicuramente preistorica o protostorica, circondata da una possente cerchia di mura, di cui restano soltanto ammassi di pietre (castelliere).
