> RIPABIANCA: Brief History
Small castle of medieval origin located in the territory of Todi, but permanently linked to Deruta starting from the Leone XII plane statistics. We want the origin of the name to derive "from the quality of the land or from some family living there". The remains of the ancient castle fortifications are poor, already badly damaged towards the end of the eighteenth century when Mariotti wrote in this regard that "the walls of this town are almost straight and few advances can be seen from the west side, accessed through the entrance of a door almost straight ... ». Once upon a time there was the so-called Church of the Dead (in which the bell tower is still visible) that housed an important series of votive frescoes, today detached and preserved in the Municipal Art Gallery of Deruta.
Ripabianca boasts an ancient tradition in the manufacture of terracotta vases and, in particular, of ziri, of jars and of amphorae.

- CHURCH of the Madonna of Pompei: It is located just outside the walls, the small church has a terracotta façade built in the first decades of this century.

- CHURCH parish church of S.S. Trinity: It is located outside the walls at the entrance to the village and is the parish church, rebuilt towards the end of the nineteenth century (1889-90) and largely furnished with objects from the deconsecrated church of the Dead.
At the center of the apse there is a painting of the first half of the seventeenth century with the rare iconography of the «Trinity» in the form of three assisi figures flanked by angels claws. On the sides of the nave two Baroque altars, with fluted columns and scrolls, host paintings from the Umbrian school of the century. XVII.

> RIPABIANCA: Cenni Storici
Piccolo castello di origine medioevale situato nel territorio di Todi, ma stabilmente legato a Deruta a partire dalla statistica piana di Leone XII. Si vuole che l’origine del nome derivi «dalla qualità del terreno o da qualche famiglia ivi abitante». Scarsi sono i resti delle antiche fortificazioni castellane, già fortemente danneggiate verso la fine del Settecento quando il Mariotti scriveva a tal proposito che «le mura di questo paese sono quasi dirute e pochi avvanzi si scorgono dalla parte di ponente, ove si accede mediante l’ingresso di una porta quasi diruta …». Un tempo si trovava nel castello la cosiddetta chiesa dei Defunti (di cui ancora è visibile il campanile) che ospitava un’importante serie di affreschi votivi oggi staccati e conservati nella Pinacoteca Comunale di Deruta.
Ripabianca vanta un’antica tradizione nella fabbricazione di vasi in terracotta e, in modo particolare, di ziri, di orci e di anfore.

- CHIESA della Madonna di Pompei: E’ situata subito fuori della cinta muraria, la piccola chiesa presenta una facciata in terracotta costruita nei primi decenni di questo secolo.

- CHIESA parrocchiale della S.S. Trinità: E’ situata fuori dalle mura all'ingresso del paese ed è la chiesa parrocchiale, ricostruita verso la fine dell’Ottocento (1889-90) e per gran parte arredata con oggetti provenienti dalla chiesa sconsacrata dei Defunti.
Al centro dell’abside si trova un dipinto della prima metà del Seicento con la rara iconografia della «Trinità» in forma di tre figure assise affiancate da angeli reggicartiglio. Ai lati della navata due altari barocchi, con colonne scanalate e tortili, accolgono tele di scuola umbra del sec. XVII.
