The dedication to the warrior angel is not a coincidence, often used in churches close to the city walls for the protection of the city. Another possible interpretation of the place comes from far away. In fact it would be one of the places of worship built along the so-called Line of San Michele (layline). This line is the set of points along the terrestrial surface where the last ray of sun at sunset of the summer solstice passes.

La dedicazione all'angelo guerriero non è un caso, spesso utilizzata nelle chiese a ridosso delle cinte murarie per protezione della città. Un'altra possibile interpretazione del luogo viene da molto lontano. Infatti sarebbe uno dei luoghi di culto edificati lungo la cosiddetta Linea di San Michele (layline). Tale linea è l'insieme dei punti lungo la superficie terrestre dove passa l'ultimo raggio di sole al tramonto del solstizio estivo.
