> BEVAGNA MUSEUM
The Museum is housed in 18th-century construction built by the Lepri family which was once used as town hall. It includes an archaeological section and a picture gallery, with works coming from the churches in the town and district; thus providing documentation of local artistic production and formal devotion. These collections are an irreplaceable source of the history and culture of Bevagna, indicative of the community way of being and thinking.

THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SECTION
The selected archaeological collection, whose original nucleus dates back to the end of the 18th century, include several finds from the Archaic to the Imperial age: fragments of sculptures, inscriptions, funeral stelae, Roman Republican coins, small bronzes, ceramics, and locally-made cinerary urns. These finds complete the great many artefacts which are embedded in the wall by the staircase, to document the importance of the ancient Roman municipium.

THE PICTURE GALLERY
The art gallery came into being as a result of the confiscation of ecclesiastical property decreed by the newly-founded Italian State in 1860. In the following period other works from churches in the town and district were incorporated. The works of some local artists, such as Ascensindonio Spacca known as Fantino and Andrea Camassei, document the liveliness of the art in Bevagna between the end of the 16th century and the first half of the 17th century. Of particular merit are the Adoration of the Magi by Corrado Giaquinto and The Virgin and the child by Dono Doni.
Also of great value is the wooden model of the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie projected by the architect Valentino Martelli in the second half of the 16th century.

È ospitato nel settecentesco palazzo appartenuto alla famiglia Lepri, già sede comunale, ed è costituito da una sezione archeologica e dalla pinacoteca, con opere d'arte provenienti da chiese della città e del territorio; offre testimonianza della produzione artistica e della devozione locale. Queste raccolte costituiscono, infatti, una fonte insostituibile dal punto di vista della storia e della cultura di Bevagna, indicative del modo di essere e di pensare di una comunità.

SEZIONE ARCHEOLOGICA
Il selezionato gruppo di materiali archeologici, il cui primitivo nucleo risale alle fine del Settecento, comprende reperti dall’età arcaica a quella imperiale: frammenti di sculture, iscrizioni, steli funerarie, monete di età romana repubblicana, bronzetti, ceramiche e urne cinerarie di produzione locale. Questi reperti integrano la cospicua raccolta archeologica murata lungo le scale del palazzo, a documentare l'importanza dell'antico municipio romano.

PINACOTECA
La pinacoteca deve la sua formazione alle demaniazioni postunitarie, in seguito accresciute da altre opere provenienti da chiese cittadine e del territorio. Documentano la vivacità dell’arte locale tra la fine del Cinquecento e la prima metà del secolo successivo le opere degli artisti bevanati Ascensidonio Spacca detto il Fantino (Cassa del beato Giacomo e Madonna di Costantinopoli) e Andrea Camassei (San Giuseppe e Testa di Santo). Di pregio anche l'Adorazione dei Magi di Corrado Giaquinto e la Madonna col Bambino di Dono Doni.
Tra le opere lignee è il modello ligneo della Chiesa della Madonna delle Grazie, realizzato dall'architetto Valentino Martelli nella seconda metà del XVI secolo.
